In order to strengthen the capacity of existing tourism support institutions, businesses and associations, a comprehensive capacity building plan has been developed.

The Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) calls upon the public (Ugandans) to register for the forthcoming Training of Trainers Program (TOT, a program aiming at strengthening the capacity of existing tourism support individuals, institutions, businesses and associations.

To strengthen this capacity, a comprehensive capacity building plan has been developed. The capacity building plan highlights the capacity gaps and the strategies to address these gaps. To achieve program sustainability and to develop an on-going process to meet individuals, institutions? training needs, it is vital to structure and implement a Training of Trainers Program (TOT).

The Training of Trainers Program will strengthen representatives of every sub-sector with skills and confidence in training session, planning, preparations and delivery of variety of training solutions. They are to replicate the entire curricula needs to other members within the associations, organizations and business enterprises. The Trainer Corps will be able to replicate the knowledge attained from these trainings within their organizations.

The purpose of this communication is to request you to identify interested individuals from your organization to fill in and submit the Trainer Candidate Profile/registration form with their CVs for the selection process of the tourism training Corps.
